Cecilia Valdéz is an Ecuadorian singer of romantic ballads and pop music, born in 1963. She began her artistic career at the age of 13, when she started working in television as a dancer and singer. In 1979, she took an important step in her career by recording her first single.

For nearly ten years, Valdez Ulloa achieved moderate recognition in Ecuador, performing at various venues such as clubs, restaurants, hotels, and festivals, as well as appearing on television programs and releasing several albums.

In 1987, worn out by the demands of touring, she decided to step away from the entertainment industry and settle in the United States, where she devoted herself to business activities. Years later, in 2020, she returned to her musical legacy with the release of an album compiling the greatest hits of her career, produced in collaboration with Fabián Montoya.
